Base rock drains and carries weight where the ground stays wet. Plain fill and grading is the budget play for a dry, straight run. A pad is a promise to the building on top of it. We prep pads for houses, garages, sheds and barns by building up fill in compacted lifts and leveling to the height you need — ground that will not settle out from under a slab. If the site still has growth on it, the mulcher opens it first and the pad work follows in the same mobilization.
For bigger builds your engineer or contractor sets the spec; we work to it. For a shed or barn pad, tell us the size and height and we will handle the rest.
